AutoCount Accounting is software that is designed for managing business accounts. With features such as invoicing, accounts receivable and payables, balance sheet, and profit and loss generation, this program can help businesses keep their finances in order.
AutoCount Accounting has an attractive interface that is easy to navigate. We like that it has options like a built-in Backup feature and the capability to generate all kinds of financial statements. Unfortunately, we were unable to locate a Help file for the software. There's a FAQ about the program on the manufacturer's Web site, and there are "hints" offered on how to use it scattered through the different parts of the program, but we wish there had been something easier to reference. The hints don't offer the user enough information to be worthwhile. This program looks like it would be a good solution for small businesses' accounting needs, but without a Help file or Users Manual, most users won't be able to get very far with it. The accounting experience the software seems to assume calls into question its very usefulness to the sort of business user it's intended for. Those with some bookkeeping or accounting experience may find it meets their needs well, however.
This is a trial version of the software, which limits you to 500 transactions. The program installs and uninstalls with no problems. AutoCount Accounting appears well designed and full of versatile functionality, but unseasoned accountants will probably want to find an easier solution for their accounting needs.
