Account book - Delete Account Book vs Detach Account Book.

To delete an account book is to remove a database.

In AutoCount Accounting, when you go to File > Manage Account Book, and click on Delete Account Book, you will remove the database file entirely in C:\AutoCount Data... and then it will no longer exist in Database Server (Microsoft SQL Server) and AutoCount Accounting... (the account book will not appear at logon screen).

To detach an account book is to disconnect AutoCount Accounting from an existing database on Database Server. The database is still located at C:\AutoCount Data.... and it is still attached to Database Server, it is just not attached to AutoCount Accounting. To detach an account book, go to File > Manage Account Book, and click on Detach Account Book,
